Sugar Hill Distillery offers its own version of Oktoberfest
You don’t need to buy a plane ticket to Germany to experience this year’s Oktoberfest, thanks to local breweries hosting festivities at Sugar Hill.
Sugar Hill, Georgia – Is it a winery? Yes. Brewery? Yes. a restaurant? Yes…that is too. But the founder of Sugar Hill Distillery says most importantly, it’s a place for the community to meet and have a good time – especially this time of year!
This morning, we got into the “spirit” (and we mean literally!) of Oktoberfest with the wonderful staff at Sugar Mountain Distillery in downtown Sugar Mountain. Founded in 2016 by Jay and Keri Liebrock, Sugar Hill Distillery produces its own rum, whiskey, vodka and tequila, and brews German-style beers under the name Apparition Brewing on the same facility! Yes, all of these drinks can be paired with food – Wunderbar Bierhaus is a full-service restaurant whose menu includes specialties like Hungarian goulash, pretzel bread sausages, and Schweineschnitzel!
Sugar Hill Distillery, located at 1166 Church Street, Sugar Hill, is open Monday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday 11am-11pm, Saturday 10am-11pm, Sunday 9am pm to 10pm. For more information, click here.
